We like to put our team on the spot, so here's JP's hot-seat responses!
How did you get into this role?
Coming from a design background, with experience as an architect, graphic designer, event designer and product designer, I have a keen eye for pixel perfection so front-end development in Webflow seemed like a natural progression. It means I can transform beautiful designs into stunning online experiences, making sites come to life in all sorts of cool and interactive ways.
What are you passionate about?
Webflow. I run a 500+ strong Webflow community in Manila, Philippines, empowering Filipino entrepreneurs through branding and web design where we share and help each other with anything about branding and websites. We're now 500+ members. 💻
Also, being naturally curious, I'm always on the lookout for ways to improve my coding skills, thinking from a design perspective to solve development hurdles.
Tell us about a goal you'd like to achieve
I'd love to create a website that wins an Awwward!
We're big fans of seeing the world - what's the best place you've visited?
Japan! Highlights of my trip were experiencing Japanese temples, playing at VR Zone in Shinjuku, people-watching in the Shibuya crossing during Halloween, and eating at a sushi train. I've only explored the Tokyo area and will surely be back for the Kansai region! 🤞
What's your favourite food?
I love Japanese cuisine 🍣 Takoyaki, Ramen, Pork cutlets, etc. I could eat it every day!
What are you reading/watching/learning?
I'm currently learning Javascript, particularly Three.js so I can create more advanced interactions and designs to create better experiences for people online.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself
I've created 100+ websites without any coding background.
Personal tagline?
"Design the better, faster, together."
